    Description

    This armature DOES work, But throws sparks. The fan closest to the windings is loose and has cut 2 wires of the armature at bottom. A good shop MAY be able to do a suitable repair, but you still need new fan assembly. Good canidate for rewind. This came from the older American Lincoln plant in Toledo, before Clarke was involved. It might work in newer units, but you would have to check with the factory in Bowling Green, Ohio. Prefere to ship UPS Ground.
