Welcome to my auction! I am downsizing a large collection. I describe accurately what I see, smell and touch so that you know what you are buying. I do not lie in my descriptions as I pay for the return shipping. I want you to be happy with your purchase. Your item will be well wrapped in bubble wrap and in a sturdy box. : As I live near the border, I can legally carry any items over to the post office in Ogdensburg, NY. So you will NOT pay any extra duty or taxes. Your eBay invoice is your final and complete payment.
Shipping Costs
: I only charge what the post office or FedEx does. I use FedEx for the larger items if it is the cheaper option. I refund any extra over my estimate. I have to put the largest amount that will take it to the farthest side of the continent. So unless you live in B.C. or California/Oregon (around there) you will usually pay less. You may or may not be aware that eBay charges their commission on the postage cost so I pay an extra 15 percent more for shipping than you do. For this reason, if the extra is less than , I keep it. I still end up in the hole as most times I am under in my estimate and in that case, I will pay the extra. I would appreciate you paying for your item as soon as possible so I only have to go to the post office once. Thank you!
ITEM DESCRIPTION:
I have two of these sweet little machines up for auction. This one is for Hansel and Gretel only.  The other is Little Red Riding Hood and is in a separate auction. I can pack both of them together in one box if you should win bid and win both. It will reduce the shipping cost but not eliminate one altogether as I have to pay for the extra weight and size of the box.

A sweet antique child sewing machine. It is made of cast iron. It is a hand crank which still works and there is a needle in the arm. Beautiful graphics show two children speaking to an old witch that is leaning towards them out of her window. This picture is on both sides of the machine. The face plate has an eagle mark with an arrow and it states beneath Made in Germany. The base of the machine has areas on the feet where the black paint has been scratched. There is not a lot and it does not detract from the beauty of this piece. The entire thing is 7 inches tall by 8 inches wide. Super cute!
