Up for sale is an antique Ives Cast Iron "niggerhead" Cap Gun 1887
This is an antique Ives Cast Iron " Cap Gun made in 1887. None listed on Ebay. - only a few at better toy auctions. Fairly rare. This cap gun is a single shot, single action cap shooter and is 4 1/2 inches long. On one side of this cap gun it is clearly embossed with the words "nigger head" and on the other side it is clearly embossed PAT March 22 & JUNE 21, 1887. Great addition to your cast iron cap gun collection. Very good working condition. A few spots of very light surface rust as you can seePlease refer to the pictures and thanks for looking. This has been in our personal collection for years.
